CERC-ENVIS Centre along with CERC celebrated the Green Action Week Campaign 2019 "Sharing Community." This year school children were involved as they act as an excellent multiplier to spread the word of sharing community in the neighbourhood. When people collaborate and share goods and servoces, it benifits the community as well as the environment. A National Green Mentors Conference was organized on two consecutive days of 29th- 30th June 2019 at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. A National Review Meet was organised by ENVIS Secretariat, EI Division, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on Tuesday 2nd of April, 2019 at Ganga Auditorium, Vayu Wing, MoEF&CC, Jor Bagh, New Delhi. Participants from different Resource Partners and State Hubs across the nation were present. The event began with the inauguration of the ENVIS Exhibition by Shri C.K Mishra Secretary, MoEF&CC accompanied by Dr. Anandi Subramaniam Principal Economic Advisor, MoEFR&CC, Mr Yashvir Singh, Economic Advisor and other members of the ENVIS Secretariat. In the exhibition, the entire 67 ENVIS Centres, of which 32 ENVIS Hubs (erstwhile State ENVIS centers) and 35 ENVIS Resource Partners (erstwhile Thematic centers) showcased their activities and knowledge products on ‘State of the Environment and Related issues’ and ‘Thematic mandates ‘ respectively. CERC-ENVIS Resource Partner initiated to celebrate the World Cleanup Day, not for a day, but for the long term to get the sustainable outcome. CERC-ENVIS team planned to clean up the Consumer Education and Research Centre campus. This campaign aims at reducing the amount of materials entering landfills. This will not only reduce environmental impacts, but also build upon a more sustainable future. Composting is one strategy to achieve these goals. Click here for Report

The objective of the seminar was to provide a platform for discussion, sharing and exchange of ideas and insights on issues related to environmental and occupational health.
